Synopsis

During this MISSION the young men in your Battalion ministry will be given a basic introduction to astronomy while developing an appreciation for the wondrous works of the Lord - a GOD-SIZED VIEW.

Astronomy has 4 weeks of materials. 

Required Materials:

• Telescope
• Binoculars
• Star viewing phone app
• White board or paper with marker or pencil
• Visual of the Solar System: image, diagram, diorama, etc.
• Two lengths of flexible cord per person: 3-6' long and 0.25-0.5" in diameter
