Mentoring Mission: Loyalty

This four-meeting Mission Guide equips leaders to create a culture where boys are not left to figure out life alone—but are intentionally guided by godly men who model faith, character, and leadership. As emphasized throughout the guide, mentoring is at the heart of Christian discipleship and essential to building strong, faithful men. Mentoring is central to developing godly men.

This resource will enable your unit to:

• Discover what mentoring is and why it matters
• Develop practical communication skills
• Learn how to seek out and build mentoring relationships
• Equip men to mentor through using the CSB Adventure and Leadership Trails achievement process
• Grow in confidence through guidance, accountability, and encouragement
• Experience how loyalty is lived out through walking alongside others in faith

Each meeting includes:

• Clear objectives and step-by-step plans
• Squad discussions and leadership engagement
• Interactive activities and communication exercises
• Training and equipping men to be mentors
• Real-life application through mentorship practice and reflection

The mission progresses from defining and understanding mentoring to actively engaging in mentoring relationships, helping young men take meaningful steps toward spiritual maturity.
