Synopsis

During this MISSION the young men in your Battalion will learn the importance of Dedication in pursuing our walk with God, while learning about fly fishing tackle, casting, “reading the water” and tying flies.

Fly Fishing has a total of 4 weeks of materials.

Required Materials:

• Fly fishing tackle (fly rod, reel, line, tippet, flies, etc.)
• Small piece of yarn to tie to end of tippet
• Hula hoops
• Print outs
• Fly tying vise (optional)
• Tool kit (optional)
• Trout flies
• Saltwater flies
• Strike indicators
