The Tree Climbers Guild is a father-and-son community designed to help men build meaningful relationships with their boys while growing in faith, character, and practical life skills. A guild is a group of people striving together toward a common purpose—and this experience is built to help dads conquer fatherhood together through fun, structured meetings that create lasting memories and lasting discipleship. 

This 4-meeting Mission Guide walks leaders step-by-step through engaging gatherings that blend:

  • Relationship-building between dads/mentors and boys
  • Hands-on skill experiences through projects and demonstrations
  • Spiritual development through Scripture, discussion, and shared learning
  • Games, stories, and meaningful conversations that connect faith to everyday life

Unit Theme: History of Trains

Trains are fascinating for boys and dads alike. They combine engineering, adventure, and history, linking the past and future in ways that other technologies have not. In the module, dads and sons together, explore the interconnectedness of the body of Christ, God's plans and promises for each of us, and the mission of spreading the Gospel far and wide.

Week 1:

Spiritual Focus: God promises to finish the work He started in us

Weekly Project: Ramp race using train cars

Extended Project Step: Scenery, details, first run

Week 4:

Verse: Matthew 28:19-20

Spiritual Focus: We are called to spread the good news of the Gospel to all nations

Weekly Project: Deliver the mail

Extended Project Step: The grand run/delivery
