Welcome to the Hiking Module. This module is focused on introducing boys to the basics of hiking. The boys will be taught about the importance of obedience and following directions. They will be encouraged to see their relationship with Jesus as a journey, a long-distance hike. The Bible and other godly influences, such as parents and Rangers, are the tools to guide them in the proper direction, like a map or compass on the trail.

This Stockade Leader’s Guide has a corresponding Outpost Adventures Guide that contains several Achievements the boys can do at home, or as part of a small group in their post meeting. These two resources are designed to work together to give your boys an exciting, spiritually-balanced learning experience. Make sure you have a Hiking Outpost Adventures Guide on hand for each boy, as several of the Post Meeting activities use pages from this guide.
