Welcome to the Camping Module. Camping gives us the ability to experience God’s creation outdoors, and helps boys leave some of the distractions of life and comforts of home behind. Camping is about living in a rough environment, often “making do” with what is at hand. Extra supplies can be hard to get because of the location. Camping gives us wonderful lessons about how to finish what you start, about “hanging in there” through rain or bugs, heat or cold. As such, this Module illustrates the Biblical Truth of Steadfastness.

This Stockade Leader’s Guide has a corresponding Outpost Adventures Guide that contains several Achievements the boys can do at home, or as part of a small group in their post meeting. These two resources are designed to work together to give your boys an exciting, spiritually-balanced learning experience. Make sure you have a Camping Outpost Adventures Guide on hand for each boy, as several of the Post Meeting activities use pages from this guide.
