CSB Ministries makes shoulder to shoulder discipleship easy with Mentoring Out of the Box! Our Fishing Leaders Guide provides instructions and coordination for an action packed project to help men and boys enjoy time together learning about witnessing.  Applications from related Bible passages are included in each of the four suggested group gatherings.  Included are a complete set of supplies for 5 boys and their dads/mentors. (Dads are urged to be there for their sons but other reliable men are welcome to participate). Fishing creates the perfect opportunity for men and boys to spend time together, making your own lures and going on a fishing outing.

The kit includes a four week curriculum and supplies designed to introduce 6 to 13 year old boys the basics of fishing: including learning the parts of a rod and reel, local fish & fishing spots, and making several lures. Along with this, the boys will be taught important aspects of witnessing for Jesus. They will be encouraged to obey Jesus’ call to “Go and make disciples”, to be prepared to share their faith, to demonstrate love, and to understand Christ’s universal calling to “bring the Good News” to the people around them. Our action focus is FISHING. Our Biblical Truth is Witnessing.
